.: In more than 25 years of practice as a preservation architect, Daniel Koplowitz has created a body of work of sublime quality. Preserving historic fabric while creating new architecture of lasting beauty and function, his projects consistently achieve their design intent while meeting project goals and client objectives.
.: Mr. Koplowitz routinely seeks challenging assignments: from the gut renovation of modern lobbies to the restoration of Grand Central Terminal; from the renovation of apartments and homes to the design of a pool house or a simple shed. His work has fine examples of custom furniture and light fixture design, as well.
.: Multi-disciplinary in his practice, Koplowitz holds a B.A. degree in Architecture and a Masters in Architecture with a specialization in Historic Preservation. He is a certified by the National Council of Registration Boards and is a member of the Professional Circle of the New York City Landmarks Conservancy.
